Fatal Collision on US 431 in Muhlenberg County

(Muhlenberg County) - Mr. Ulysses T. Bard was traveling north on US 431, the vehicle exited the right side of the roadway. Mr. Bard attempted to pull vehicle back onto the road and over corrected causing the vehicle to turn side ways. The vehicle then rolled over. The vehicle then exited the left side of the roadway striking an earthen embankment, causing the driver to be ejected from the vehicle. Mr. Bard was pronounced deceased on the scene by the Muhlenberg County Corner's Office at 01:46 Both passengers sustained minor injuries. Alcohol was a contributing factor of the accident.
