Injury Collision on Pennyrile Parkway in Hopkins County

(Hopkins County) - Robert Sigers was operating a 2006 Mack Semi hauling coal northbound on the Pennyrile Parkway. Mr. Sigers changed lanes to allow merging traffic to enter the parkway. The vehicle dropped off the left shoulder of the roadway. Mr. Sigers overcorrected and the truck overturned. Both northbound lanes of the parkway were shutdown for approximately 3 hours. Mr. Sigers was transported to Regional Medical Center by MedCenter EMS for treatment of his injuries.
