Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree Arrest in Crittenden County

(Madisonville, KY) - On Saturday, September 29, 2007 officers responded to a fight complaint on Guy Hodge Road in Marion. Upon arriving, Aaron T. Fritts, Lydia L. Fritts, Joseph L. Fowler, John W. McDowell, Ashley B. Guess and Brandon W. Tinsley as well as two other witnesses were in the middle of the road. Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that Aaron Fritts had pulled his vehicle up to where the other above subjects were on Guy Hodge Road. Mr. Fritts had located his wife, Lydia Fritts, intoxicated there. Mr. Fritts proceeded to pull a handgun and shot one round into the air. Joseph Fowler and John McDowell wrestled with Mr. Fritts and took the handgun away from him.

All subjects listed below were arrested without further incident and lodged in the Crittenden County Jail.

  1. Aaron T. Fritts, age 29 of Marion, KY was arrested and charged with Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree (7 counts)
  2. Lydia L. Fritts, age 25 of Marion, KY was arrested and charged with DUI 1st Offense
  3. Joseph L. Fowler, age 23 of Marion, KY was arrested and charged with Possession of Open Alcoholic Beverage Container in Motor Vehicle
  4. John W. McDowell, age 22 of Marion, KY was arrested and charged with Unlawful Transaction w/ a Minor 3rd Degree & Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place 1st Offense
  5. Ashley B. Guess, age 22 of Marion, KY was arrested and charged with Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place 1st Offense
  6. Brandon W. Tinsley, age 29 of Crayne, KY was arrested and charged with Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place 1st Offense

No injuries were reported.
