Update To Missing Persons Investigation
Date of News Release: 09/25/2007
(Christian County) - On September 12, 2007 at approximately 1:00 p.m., officers from the Kentucky State Police Post 2-Madisonville, Post 1-Mayfield, Christian County Sheriff's Department and the Trigg County Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant at 2042 State Route 624 in Cerulean, KY in reference to the Barbara Laster missing person's investigation. Officers located 16 marijuana plants, processed marijuana, drug paraphernalia and 5 weapons. However, units were unable to locate anything related to the Laster investigation.
Barbara Sue Laster has not been seen or heard from since December 8, 2002. In January of 2003, the Kentucky State Police responded to Laster's mother's residence on Madisonville Road in Hopkinsville, KY. At that time Laster's mother, Patsy Hines, told investigators that she had not seen or heard from her daughter in several months. Family members have still not seen or heard from her. As of now, there are no leads to Laster's whereabouts.
Barbara Laster is a 43 year-old white, female. She has brown hair and blue eyes. She is 5 foot 3 inches tall and weighs approximately 145 pounds. She has a mole on her right, upper lip and a scar on her right knee. She has a tattoo of the letter "L" on her right shoulder. Ms. Laster was last seen at 6615 Harmony Grove Road in Hopkinsville, KY. She was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt and green sweatpants.
