Drug Arrest in Crofton, KY
Date of News Release: 09/13/2007
Crofton, KY (Christian County) - On Thursday, September 13, 2007 at approximately 11:00 a.m., a KSP helicopter spotted marijuana growing behind a residence located on Grapevine Road. Troopers responded to the residence and obtained consent to search from the owner, Arleigh P. Parrott age 50 of Crofton, KY. Troopers located 6 marijuana plants growing behind a barn on the property. Mr. Parrott was arrested without incident and charged with Cultivating Marijuana 5 Plants or More 1st Offense (D Felony). He was lodged in the Christian County Detention Center. Tpr. Jermaine Savage was the arresting officer. Tpr. Ben Sawyer and the KSP Erad Team assisted.
