Injury Crash on KY 138 in Hopkins County

(Hopkins County) - Mr. Jonathan Nutt was traveling on KY 138 east of the Pennyrile Parkway when, for an unknown reason, his right side tires dropped off the shoulder of the roadway. The vehicle traveled approximately 80 yards before it ran completely off the road and struck an earth embankment. The vehicle became airborne for a short distance and continued another 80 yards before striking another earth embankment. Upon impact of the second earth embankment the vehicle came to final rest. Mr. Nutt was flown to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana, due to injuries that he sustained as a result of the collision.
