Injury Crash Involving Motorcycle in Elkton, KY

Elkton, KY (Todd County) - Glendal Johnson Jr. age 38 of Russellville, KY was operating a 1978 Hardline motorcycle northbound on Davis Mill Road. As he was traveling northbound, he was unable to negotiate a curve. The motorcycle exited off the left shoulder of the roadway and struck a tree stump causing the motorcycle to overturn several times. Mr. Johnson was ejected from the motorcycle. He was flown to Vanderbilt Medical Center for treatment. Mr. Johnson was wearing a helmet. Tpr. Nathan Knight investigated the crash that occurred on August 9, 2007 at 9:15 a.m. The Todd County Sheriff's Department and Todd County EMS assisted at the scene.
