Injury Crash Involving DUI in Guthrie, KY

Guthrie, KY (Todd County) - Joe Cage age 60 of Olmstead, KY was operating a 2000 Ford F-350 pickup truck on Snardon Mill Road. Mr. Cage stated he swerved to miss a deer that ran in front of his vehicle. The vehicle exited off the roadway and struck a tree. Mr. Cage was transported by ambulance to Logan Memorial Hospital for treatment. He was wearing a seatbelt. Mr. Cage was cited to court for DUI 1st Offense due to his injuries. Tpr. Timmy Jewell investigated the crash that occurred on August 7, 2007 at 8:50 p.m. The Guthrie Police Department and Todd County EMS assisted at the scene.
