Injury Crash on US 62 in St. Charles, KY

St. Charles, KY (Hopkins County) - Arlester Copeland age 44 of Princeton, KY was operating a 1994 Ford F350 utility truck westbound on US 62. As Mr. Copeland topped a hill, another vehicle was completing a turn at the intersection of US 62 and KY 454. Mr. Copeland swerved to avoid the other vehicle and his truck exited off the right side of the roadway. The truck traveled down an earth embankment and struck a ditch. Mr. Copeland had to be extricated from his vehicle by the St. Charles Fire Department. He was then transported by ambulance to the Regional Medical Center for treatment. Mr. Copeland was wearing a seatbelt. Tpr. Darron Holliman investigated the crash that occurred on June 26, 2007 at 8:53 a.m. The St. Charles Fire Department and Medical Center Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
