Injury Crash on Pennyrile Parkway in Sebree, KY

Date of News Release: 04/10/2007

Sebree, KY (Webster County) - William T. Phillips Sr. age 53 of Danville, IL was operating a 2000 Ford tractor-trailer southbound on the Pennyrile Parkway at approximately the 63 mile-marker. The tractor-trailer was hauling electronic components. As he was traveling southbound, the vehicle entered a construction zone where southbound traffic was reduced to one lane. The tractor-trailer struck a barrier and a guardrail and traveled off the roadway. The load did not spill. Mr. Phillips was transported by ambulance to the Regional Medical Center where he was treated and released. He was wearing a seatbelt. Tpr. Brandon McPherson investigated the crash that occurred on April 10, 2007 at 2:40 a.m. The Sebree Fire Department, Webster County EMS and the State Highway Department assisted at the scene.
