Injury Crash on KY 848 in Todd County

Todd County - Mary Swigart age 49 of Springfield, TN was operating a 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass westbound on KY 848 when for an unknown reason, the vehicle veered off the right shoulder of the roadway. Ms. Swigart overcorrected causing the vehicle to cross both lanes. The vehicle exited off the left side of the roadway and struck an earth embankment. The vehicle then struck a tree and overturned on its top. Ms. Swigart was transported to North Crest Hospital in Springfield, TN for treatment. She was wearing a seatbelt. Tpr. Camileo Threatt investigated the crash that occurred on April 2, 2007 at approximately 6:30 a.m.
