Fatal Crash on KY 175 in Muhlenberg County

(Muhlenberg County) - Teddy L. Johnson was traveling southbound on KY 175 when he encountered a tree down crossing the roadway. Johnson was unable to stop and struck the tree with the front windshield and top of the vehicle as he went under it. The vehicle came to final rest a short distance on the south side of the tree partially off the roadway. The Muhlenberg County Coroners Office pronounced Johnson dead on scene. Smith and Dinsmore were transported to the Muhlenberg County Hospital to be treated for minor injuries. Tpr. Timmy Jewell, Deputy Jamie Jenkins, Deputy Tommy Nantz, Bremen Fire Department, Muhlenberg County Ambulance Service, Muhlenberg County Coroners Office assisted Tpr. Ray at the scene.
