Drug Arrest in Hopkinsville, KY

Hopkinsville, KY (Christian County) - On Friday, February 23, 2007 at approximately 3:46 p.m., officers from the Kentucky State Police and the Hopkinsville Police Department executed a search warrant and an arrest warrant at a residence located on Jeffery Drive in Hopkinsville. The Kentucky State Police obtained the search warrant and the arrest warrant through an investigation.

Officers located approximately 29 ounces of suspected crack cocaine inside the residence. It has an estimated street value of $34,800. Along with the drugs, officers also seized over $3000 in cash, a 2000 Cadillac and surveillance equipment.

Corey Forte age 29 of Hopkinsville, KY was arrested at the residence without incident and charged with Trafficking Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense-Cocaine (3 counts). He was lodged in the Christian County Detention Center.
