Injury Crash on Everettes Lane in Christian County

Hopkinsville, KY (Christian County) - James Mangels age 38 of Hopkinsville, KY was operating a 2002 Dodge Durango eastbound on Everettes Lane approximately 4 miles north of Hopkinsville. As the vehicle traveled over a hill, he lost control of it. The vehicle exited off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree. Mr. Mangels was transported by ambulance to the Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment. He was wearing a seatbelt. Tpr. Mark Franklin investigated the crash that occurred on February 2, 2007 at 11:20 a.m. Christian County EMS and the Westside Fire Department assisted at the scene.
