Injury Crash on I-24 in Christian County

Oak Grove, KY (Christian County) - Marlon G. Tolbertson age 23 of Fruitland, NM was operating a 2003 Cadillac eastbound on I-24 at an apparent high rate of speed and lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle crossed the median and overturned striking a road sign. The vehicle came to rest on its right side off the westbound shoulder of the roadway. Mr. Tolbertson was transported by ambulance to the Jennie Stuart Medical Center then transferred to the Vanderbilt Medical Center for treatment. The passenger, Rhjan Scott age 22 of Ft. Campbell, KY, was not injured. Both subjects were wearing seatbelts. Tpr. Brian Gann investigated the crash that occurred on January 29, 2007 at 10:50 a.m. The Christian County Sheriff's Department, Oak Grove Police Department, Christian County EMS, Tennessee Highway Patrol and Clarksville Fire Department assisted at the scene.
