Non-Injury Crash on US 431 in Dunmor, KY

Dunmor, KY (Muhlenberg County) - Jeffrey W. Stein age 47 of Evansville, IN was operating a 2005 GMC Raben Tire truck southbound on US 431 approximately 3 miles north of Dunmor when the right tires of the vehicle dropped off the right shoulder of the roadway. Mr. Stein was unable to regain control of the vehicle and it overturned on its side spilling approximately 100 tires. The vehicle came to rest on its side blocking both lanes of travel. The road was closed for almost two hours. Mr. Stein was wearing his seatbelt. No injuries were reported. Tpr. Craig Engler investigated the crash that occurred on January 19, 2007 at 8:17 a.m. The Beechmont Volunteer Fire Department and the Dunmor Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
