Arson Second Degree Investigation and Arrest in Hopkins County

(Hopkins County) - On 01-18-07, the Kentucky State Police and the Kentucky State Fire Marshal's Office responded to 2905 Grapevine Road in Madisonville, KY in reference to a vacant house fire that occurred on 01-17-07. The Kentucky State Police and Kentucky State Fire Marshal's Office were requested to investigate the fire by Benny Baxter, the Chief of the Grapevine Volunteer Fire Department. Investigation revealed the fire was intentionally set. Rodney Brasher was arrested and lodged in the Hopkins County Jail. Brasher is a member of the Grapevine Volunteer Fire Department.
