Shots Fired Investigation in Water Valley, KY

(WATER VALLEY, KY) At approximately 4:31 P.M. on November 17th Kentucky State Police responded to a report of shots fired in the area of School Street in Water Valley, KY. Upon units' arrival a white male later identified as Allen Scott Nesler, 35 years old of Water Valley attempted to flee the scene. After a brief foot pursuit Mr. Nesler was taken into custody. Mr. Nesler was charged with fleeing and Evading 1st and Possession of a Handgun. Upon further investigation, a search warrant was obtained for the residence that revealed approximately 67 grams of crystal methamphetamine, a large amount of cash and several other weapons. Mr. Nesler was additionally charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st degree 1st offense (firearm enhanced), and Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st degree 2nd or greater offense (firearm enhanced), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd offense. Investigation continues by Trooper Thomas Clifton. Graves County Sheriff's Department assisted Kentucky State Police at the scene.
