(Mayfield, KY) - On 11/08/2007 at approximately 08:30AM, Scott G. Sanders of Cadiz was traveling north on KY958 (Barefield Road). While negotiating a curve approximately 1 mile from US68, Sanders ran off the right shoulder and lost control of his 1998 Ford Ranger pickup truck. Sanders over corrected left in an attempt to regain the roadway, but steered the vehicle into a yaw and ran off the right shoulder a second time. As the vehicle entered a grassy field, the wheels of the vehicle caused the vehicle to trip and overturn. The vehicle rolled approximately three times, a distance of 79 feet. During this rollover event Sanders, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle. Sanders traveled 85 feet before coming to final rest in the field. Sanders suffered multiple injuries, and was air lifted to Vanderbilt hospital for treatment. Collison reconstructionist C.G.
