Drug Arrest in Graves County

(Mayfield, KY) - Trooper T.J. Williams and Trooper David Archer were working criminal patrol on KY. 97 in Graves County when they observed an occupant in a vehicle not wearing a seat belt. Trooper Williams stopped the vehicle and cited the passenger, Robert. D. Wagner, 48 of Symsonia, for not wearing a seat belt. After the citation was issued, Mr. Wagner was asked for consent to search his person. Mr. Wagner gave consent to search and Trooper Williams found 1/2 ounce of Methamphetamine, Lortab, and Xanax and drug paraphernailia in his pockets. Mr. Wagner was arrested and charged with Traffiicking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree-Meth, Possession of Drug Paraphernila, Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd Degree-Lortab, Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd Degree-Xanax, Prescription Drug not in Proper Container, and Failure to Wear Seat Belt. He was lodged in the Graves County Detention Center. The investigation is continuing.
