Injury Crash on KY 381 in Graves County

Date of News Release: 09/11/2007

(Mayfield, KY) - Jessie Garland was operating a 2005 Badboy lawn mower and was attempting to cross KY. 381 in Sedalia. Rodney Lancaster was traveling North on KY. 381. Mr. Garland stated he saw the truck approaching and thought he had time to cross the road. Mr. Lancaster steered right in an attempt to avoid impact but was unable. The impact caused Mr. Garland to be ejected from the mower. He was transported to Lourdes Hospital and treated for multiple injuries. The Sedalia First Responders, Cuba Fire Department, Graves County Sheriff's Department, and Mayfield/Graves County EMS assisted state police at the scene. The investigation is continuing by Trooper Thomas.
