Fraudulent Use of Credit Card in Graves County

(Mayfield and Paducah, KY) - On 1-15-07, Kentucky State Police dispatch received a call from a victim in Melber reporting his debit card had been taken and used in Graves and McCracken Counties.

The investigation by Trooper Dean Patterson revealed the card had been used at Wal-Mart in Mayfield and Paducah along with other businesses in the two cities. Video surveillance from Wal-Mart security cameras shows three individuals using the card at their stores. Trooper Patterson identified the three as Natasha Hopkins, Amber Hite and Daniel Hodges all of Graves County. Warrants were obtained and the three were arrested on 2-1-07. Hopkins was charged with Theft of a credit card and 2 counts of Fraudulent use of a Credit Card over $100.00. Hite and Hodges were each charged with 2 counts of Complicity to Fraudulent use of a Credit Card over $100.00. The investigation is continuing by Trooper Patterson.
