Assault 2nd and Wanton Endangerment Investigation and Arrest

(Graves County, KY) - Kentucky State Police received a call at 5:33 am from 6975 State Route 440 of a possible assault. When Trooper Jay Thomas arrived on scene it was determined that William Frye had struck his wife in the face with a shotgun. Graves County EMS was on scene and Mrs. Frye was treated for her injuries and was not transported to the hospital. Mr. Frye fired his shotgun inside his residence during the dispute while his wife and three children were present. William Frye was arrested by Trooper Jay Thomas and lodged in the Graves County Jail and was charged with Assault 2nd and four counts of Wanton Endangerment. The Kentucky State Police was assisted on scene by the Graves County Sheriff's Department and Graves County EMS. The investigation is continuing by Trooper Jay Thomas.
