DUI Injury Motorcycle Collision on KY 56W in Union County

(Henderson, KY) - Adam G. Mathews, operating a 1993 Harley Davidson Motorcycle, was travelling eastbound on KY 56W. For unknown reasons, he lost control of the motorcycle, ran off the road and into a ditch. He refused treatment at the scene, but was transported to the Union County Emergency Room by Trooper Dilback where he was later transferred to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. for his injuries. Valerie Mathews was transported to the Union County Emergency Room by ambulance for treatment of her injuries. Adam Mathews was cited to court for DUI and Operating on a Suspended License due to his admission to the hospital.
