Injury Collision on the Audubon Parkway in Daviess County

(Henderson, KY) - On Friday, September 07, 2007 at approximately 8:30 AM, Matthew S. Keown was traveling Eastbound on the Audubon Parkway. According to Mr. Keown, he finished work at 7:00 AM and was on his way to school. He stated that he fell asleep. Mr. Keown ran off the left side of the roadway into the median. He then crossed the eastbound lanes of the Audubon Parkway, and ran off the right side of the roadway. The front end of Mr. Keown's 1998 Ford F150 struck a tree. Mr. Keown was wearing his seatbelt, and credits it with saving his life. The vehicle was equipped with airbags, which deployed in the collision. There were no other occupants in the vehicle.
