Non-injury collision with a DUI Arrest in Daviess County

(Henderson, KY) - On Wednesday, September 05, 2007 at approximately 7:45 AM Carrie Kelly was traveling southbound on Todd Bridge Road. Ms. Kelly had her 4 year old son in a rear passenger side child seat. Ms. Kelly struck a guardrail on the right side of the roadway, crossed the centerline struck the guardrail on the left side of the roadway, and then struck the guardrail on the right side a second time. While investigating the collision, Trooper Pagan determined Ms. Kelly was under the influence of substance that impaired her ability to operate a motor vehicle.
Trooper Pagan arrested Ms. Kelly for Operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs/etc (Aggravating circumstances) 1st offense and operating a motor vehicle with an expired operator license. The DUI was enhanced when Ms. Kelly had a child in the vehicle under the age of 12. She was lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center.
