Kentucky State Police Kick-off Summer Highway Safety Enforcement Campaign July 4th Weekend

(Henderson, KY) - WHAT: Kentucky State Police Press Conference promoting "Blue Lights Across the Bluegrass" Summer Enforcement Campaign. This event will include local law enforcement, Fire, EMS and local officials together, to send a strong message to the public that they plan to reduce highway fatalities this summer by showing "zero tolerance" for impaired driving, speed and seat belt violations.
WHEN: Tuesday, July 3, 2007, 11:00 a.m. CT
WHERE: Henderson County High School Stadium Parking Lot
WHO: Kentucky State Police, Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement, Henderson County Sheriff's Office, Henderson County Attorney's Office, local sheriff's departments, police and fire departments from our area, which include the counties of Hancock, Daviess, Ohio, McLean, Union, and Henderson.
WHY: Kick-off Event for KSP Summer Enforcement Campaign "Blue Lights Across the Bluegrass" with emphasis on Impaired Driving, Speed and Seat Belt violations. KSP will kick off the Blue Lights Across the Bluegrass campaign with the July 4th holiday weekend.
