Injury Crash on State Route 666 in Union County

(Henderson, KY) - Lori Jackson was operating a 2001 Buick eastbound on state route 666. She went to retrieve her purse and ran off the roadway striking a culvert. Ms. Jackson's vehicle then struck an earth embankment coming to rest in a deep ditch. She was trapped and had to be extracted by non-mechanical means. Ms. Jackson was transported to deaconess by Air-E-Vac out of Evansville, IN. Ms. Jackson sustained multiple injuries and her condition at this time is not known. Investigation continues.
