22nd Annual Police Officer Memorial Service

(Henderson, KY) - The U.S. Congress established May 15th of each year as Police Memorial Day. The Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #16, Owensboro, KY, will conduct its 22 annual Memorial Service to honor those officers who unselfishly gave their lives in the performance of their duties.

The service will be held Thursday, May 17th, 7:00 p.m., at Crosspointe Baptist Church, 550 Worthington Road, Owensboro, KY.

The keynote speaker will be the Secretary of the Justice Cabinet, Brigadier General Norman Arflack, (Kentucky National Guard), with opening remarks by Kentucky State Police Commissioner Jack Adams.

This memorial service is open to the public and nationwide law enforcement departments.
