Rape Investigation and Arrest in Cumberland County

(Columbia, KY) - Around 5:00 pm on November 30th, 2007, Kentucky State Police received a call reference a rape of a 79 year old female in Cumberland County. During the investigation it was determined that Cordelro D. Thurman, White Male age 19, of Burkesville had physically assaulted the victim. Mr. Thurman was arrested for Rape 1st Degree and lodged in Adair County Regional Jail. This case is under investigation by Trooper Stotts and Detective Hunt, assisted by Cumberland County Sheriff39;s Officers.
