Shooting Investigation in Clinton County

(Columbia, KY) - Post 15 Columbia received a call from Clinton County Dispatch at approximately 7:30 pm last evening reporting a shooting that occurred on Groce Subdivision Road, approximately 5 miles south of Albany. Upon units arrival, 54 year old Ronnie Reynolds had been shot one time in the chest with a .410 shotgun. Mr. Reynolds was shot by homeowner Frank Booher Sr.,, after Mr. Reynolds allegedly, unlawfully entered the residence armed with a high powered rifle.

Mr. Reynolds was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Medical Center, where he remains in serious condition. The investigation continues by Det. Israel Slinker. Det. Slinker was assisted at the scene by Clinton County Sheriff Department and Albany Police Department.
