Fatal Crash on Bottoms Road in Russell County

(Columbia, KY) - Dannie L. Daniel was traveling on Bottoms Road near Russell Springs KY on a 2003 Yamaha motorcycle. Mr. Daniel passed a vehicle at a high rate of speed and almost hit an oncoming vehicle. Mr. Daniel swerved sharply to the right, ran off the roadway and was ejected from the motorcycle. Mr. Daniel was flown to the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. At 8:45 Mr. Dannie L. Daniel age 54 of London, KY succumbed to his injuries.
