Arrest Made in Bomb Threat at the Adair County Court House

(Columbia, KY) - An arrest has been made in connection with the bomb threat made on Monday, April 30 to the Adair County Child Support Office. After follow up investigation detectives were led to Nashville, TN where Christina L. Escue, age 23 of Nashville was arrested and extradited back to Kentucky. Ms. Escue was charged with Terroristic Threatening 1st Degree. She is lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail, being held on $100,000 cash bond.

Detective Wesley was assisted in the investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations and the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms.

(Columbia, KY) - On April 30, 2007, around 10:22 A.M., the Columbia State Police Post received a call from the Adair County Child Support Office stating that they had received several bomb threats in the last few minutes. The caller threatened to bomb the Adair County Court House.

Officers from the Kentucky State Police Post, Adair County Sheriff's Office, Columbia Police Department, State Fire Marshall's Office and Emergency Management Services searched the court house and did not locate any device.
