Target Arson Investigation in Carter County

(Ashland, KY) - Kentucky State Police in Ashland is seeking any information leading to the arrest of the suspect (s) responsible for the fire of three vehicles parked on Honey Lane in Olive Hill, Ky. The fire started sometime during the day on 11-11-07 and is believed to be ARSON. The owner of the three passenger vehicles is Jim Short of Olive Hill. The vehicles were parked near the old Olive Hill Elementary baseball field. Witnesses reported seeing smoke in the area sometime around noon on Sunday.

The Kentucky State Police is offering a 1000 dollar reward leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) responsible for this fire. This reward is part of the "Target Arson" program offered by the Kentucky State Police through the State Arson Task Force.
