July Monthly Activity From Post 14
(Ashland, KY) - During the month of July 2007, there were 50 motor vehicle collisions investigated by State Police working out of the Ashland Post in the four counties of Boyd, Greenup, Carter, and Lawrence.
During July of 2007 there was 5 fatalities in the Post 14, which occurred in Carter County (3), Boyd County (1), and Lawrence County (1) compared to 2 in July 2006 which occurred in Boyd and Carter Counties. Statewide fatalities stand at 496 compared to 504 for the same time period in 2006.
