Fatal Crash on Midland Trail in Carter County

(Ashland, KY) - Kentucky State Police in Ashland is investigating a single vehicle collision that occurred on Midland Trail this afternoon in Grayson, KY. James F. Felty was travelling east on Midland Trail when he lost control of his vehicle and left the roadway striking a tree.

Alcohol is not suspected as a factor and seatbelts were not in use by the operator. Mr. Felty was pronounced dead at the scene by the Carter County Coroner.

The collision remains under investigation by Trooper Ed Ginter
