Perry County Armed Robbery

(Hazard, KY) - On 10/17/07 Kentucky State Police Post 13 received a call from Southern Spirits in the Wabaco Community of Perry County reference an Armed Robbery.

Preliminary investigation indicates that the suspect entered the store and asks for liquor stored behind the counter. The clerk turned to retrieve the items and the suspect brandished a weapon under his clothing. The accused grabbed the liquor from the clerk and fled the store.

The clerk followed him outside and saw him get in a passenger car and flee. The victim also saw two other subjects in the vehicle, but could not give a description of them.

The suspect is described as follows, white male, approximately 5'6", 160 pounds. He appeared to be in his late twenties with a goatee and mustache. He was last seen wearing a dark colored pull over shirt, blue jeans, and a dark colored ball cap with silver trim.
