Leslie County Delayed Motorcycle Fatality

(Hazard, KY) - On 09/25/07 at approximately 6:30 p.m. a motorcycle accident occurred on US421 4 miles North of Hyden in Leslie County.

The operator Danny Roberts, age 49, of Hyden Ky. and his passenger Regina McCall, age 44, also of Hyden Ky. were both ejected from the motorcycle. Mr. Roberts was airlifted to Holsten Valley Medical Center where he expired on 10/04/07 due to injuries sustained in the accident. Regina McCall was transported to the Mary Breckenridge Hospital where she was treated and released. No helmet was in use and the investigation is continuing by Tpr. James Williams.
