Gattiland Stores and Kentucky State Police Post 12 Frankfort Helping Children this Holiday Season

Date of News Release: 11/01/2007

(Frankfort, KY) - Two Mr. Gatti's Family Fun Centers in Louisville KY, are working with the Kentucky State Police Post 12 - Frankfort to distribute toys to needy families this Holiday Season. The participating Mr. Gatti's are located at 1108 Lyndon Lane and 4200 Outer Loop. They are accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys in their original packaging as part of their Kids-4-Kids Toy Drive that ends Dec. 15, 2007.

Mike Daleo, Mr. Gatti's district manager, said the toy drive is all about "kids helping kids."

We are promoting the holiday spirit by asking our young customers to think about those less fortunate during the Holiday Season. In return, Gattiland will reward the kids donating toys with a free kids buffet that day.

Last year the two Mr. Gatti's restaurants donated several boxes of toys as well as a $450.00 check to the Kentucky State Police Post in Frankfort. The toys were distributed to needy children by members of the Kentucky State Police. The four hundred and fifty-dollars was used to help eight additional needy families. Post 12 Troopers escorted those families to area Walmart Stores where they purchased clothing and toys for Christmas.
