Post 12 Marijuana Eradication Team Locates Shelby County Meth Lab

(Frankfort, KY) - On Friday, July 6, 2007 at 1:03 PM, Kentucky State Police Post 12 Frankfort Marijuana Eradication Team locates Shelby County Meth Lab. The Post 12 Marijuana Eradication Team was flying when they spotted three marijuana plaints at a residence on Ritter Road in Shelby County. State Police investigation of the marijuana plaint leads to the discovery of a Meth Lab.
Kentucky State Police clandestine meth lab team dismantled lab and removed meth lab chemicals. Kentucky State Police also removed 35 assorted weapons how the residences. Investigation ongoing by Kentucky State Police an arrest is pending.
Kentucky State Police is asking the public to report Meth Labs and Marijuana Growers by calling the toll free number 1-800- DOPE- TIP, caller can remain anonymous. Please give as much information as possible, name, grower, address, city, county, street/road name and description of home or location where marijuana is growing.
