Armed Robbery Investigation in McCreary County

(LONDON, KY.) - On Thursday December 13, 2007 at approximately 5:00 PM the Kentucky State Police Post 11 received a report of an armed Robbery at the Fastway Store in Stearns, KY. Upon arrival Detective Billy Correll discovered that a white male entered the store armed with a small silver handgun and demanded cash. The subject then fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount. The subject is described as 5'9" to 5'10" tall, with a thin build and was last seen wearing a long sleeved dark colored jacket, a dark colored hat and a red bandanna over his face. Anyone with information in reference to this incident is urged to call the Kentucky State Police at 606-878-6622 or 1-800-222-5555 or the McCreary County Sheriffs Department at 606-376-2322 or 911. Detective Billy Correll is continuing the investigation.
