Burglary Arrest in Pulaski County

(London, KY) - On Friday 11-30-2007 at 12:15 PM while on routine patrol Trooper Anthony Phillips stopped to investigate a vehicle in a ditch at the driveway of 291 Slate Branch Road.

As Trooper Phillips exited his police car to speak with a male subject, which was standing outside the car, he was approached by Phyllis Gibson. Gibson stated she and her husband, Clifton, returned home and found the male subject inside their home carrying some of their belongings.

Trooper Phillips detained the male subject identified as Charles N. Doan, 27, of Corbin, KY and a female that was inside the car, identified as Angel D. Mize, 20, of Corbin, KY while he investigated Gibson's complaint.

Trooper Phillips' investigation determined that there had been a break-in at the residence and he placed both subjects under arrest. Doan was charged with Burglary 1ST degree and Mize with charged with Conspiracy to commit Burglary 1ST Degree. Doan and Mize were lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.

Trooper Anthony Phillips is continuing the investigation.
