Burglary Investigation in Laurel County

(LONDON, KY) - On Tuesday, July 03, 2007, approximately 11:11 AM the Kentucky State Police Post 11 London received a Burglary and Criminal Mischief complaint at 968 West City Dam Road in the Keavy area of Laurel County, KY. Upon arrival Trooper Richie Baxter determined someone had broken into the building, which houses the equipment for the Gospel Radio Station WVCT 91.5 and the Gospel TV Station WVTN and removed several thousand dollars worth of equipment. Trooper Baxter also discovered the Burglars caused several thousand dollars worth of damage to the building and transmission tower.
