Robbery Investigation in Harlan County

(COLDIRON, KY) On 4/16/2007 at 3:15 a.m., Kentucky State Police Post 10 received a call about a robbery at the Coldiron BP gas station in Coldiron, KY. A white male subject entered the store and instructed the clerk to open the cash register and give him all of the money. The male subject then threatened the clerk and stated that if the clerk did not give him the money he would cut the clerk with a knife. The male subject took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene. The white male subject was wearing a red bandana and a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans. This case is still under investigation by Detective Jimmy Halcomb Kentucky State Police Post 10 Harlan.
