Update to Triple Murder in Bell County - Arrest Information

(PINEVILLE, KY) -
After a lengthy investigation, Detective Mitchell Williams Kentucky State Police Post 10 Harlan, executed a warrant on 2/13/2007 at 11:30 a.m. at the Bell County Detention Center on Buster Edward Gambrel, age 46 of Pineville, KY. Mr. Gambrel has been charged with 3 counts of Murder for the deaths of Donnie Fuston of Pineville, KY. Arley Carnes of Arjay, KY. and Bryan Carnes of Arjay, KY. This case is still under investigation by Detective Mitchell Williams Kentucky State Police Post 10 Harlan.
(PINEVILLE, KY) On 01/02/07 at 2:21 p.m., Kentucky State Police Post 10 Harlan received a call about a triple murder off of KY 221 in the Kettle Island area of Bell County, Kentucky. Three bodies were discovered in a van by an area resident who was riding his ATV. All three victims suffered fatal gunshot wounds. The names of the victims are being withheld until their families have been notified. This triple murder case is under investigation by Detective Mitchell Williams Kentucky State Police Post 10 Harlan.
UPDATE: The three victims have been identified; Donnie Fuston age 56 of Pineville, KY, Arley Carnes age 49 of Arjay, KY, Bryan Carnes age 31 of Arjay, KY. All three bodies have been sent to the Kentucky State Police Crime Lab in Frankfort, KY for autopsy. There will be more updates as the investigation continues.
