Fatal Crash on KY 194 in Pike County

Pikeville, KY-- On October 31, 2006 at approximately 05:56 am Kentucky State Police Post 9-Pikeville received a call regarding a two vehicle collision on KY 194 at the Kimper community of Pike County.

Jody McCoy, was traveling east on KY 194 in his 1986 Toyota truck when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck a west bound 1986 Mack Coal Truck operated by Joseph K Stiltner, 58 years of age of Belcher, KY.

Jody McCoy, 44 years of age, of Kimper, KY was pronounced dead at the scene by Pike County Coroner.

The collision is still under investigation by Trooper Chris Phillips and Trooper Jason Merlo.
