Murder Arrest in Pike County, KY

(Pikeville, KY) - On January 25, 2006 Donna Charles of Raccoon, KY was indicted on the charge of Murder and was arrested on January 26, 2006 at 3:22 pm. This arrest stems from an investigation surrounding a fatal collision on US 119 in the Meta community of Pike County that happened on June 11, 2005.
The collision caused the death of Donna Charles' 11 year old son, Mitchell Slone.
The collision remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Trooper Jason Merlo.
