Shannon R. Burgher Turned Himself In to KSP

Shannon Burgher surrended to Kentucky State Police Detective P.B.LeMaster and Powell County Deputy Rog Matthews at the Clark County Detention Center in Winchester at approximately 6:00pm February 28th. . He is currently lodged in the Detention Center charged with Murder.

The Kentucky State Police at Morehead are investigating the death of Donna F. Burgher, 36 of Stanton. She was located in a motor vehicle on KY 15 near Stanton, Powell County. Burgher was pronoucned dead at the scene by Powell County Coroner Carl Wells, Jr. as the result of multiple gunshots. Autopsy to be performed next date at the State Medical Examiners Office in Frankfort. Next of Kin notified by Coroner. Apparently Donna Burgher was attempting to flee from Shannon Burgher because of an earlier argument when she wrecked and then was shot in side of her vehicle.
Kentucky State Police at Morehead are looking for Shannon R. Burgher, 30 of Stanton for questioning in relation to this investigation and the fire of his residence on Mill Knob Road in Powell County. Burgher is described as a white male 5'6" tall, weighing 140lbs with green eyes operating a Black 2001 GMC Pickup with KY registration 4152ND . Burgher is considered armed and dangerous.
