KSP Post 7 Searching for Robbery Suspect

(RICHMOND, KY) - Click here to enlarge the picture of Ricky Pittman - Through investigation the Kentucky State Police in Richmond were able to obtain Robbery 1st Warrants for Ricky Pittman 38 of Lexington KY.

Mr. Pittman is a white male 5'11'' 150 to 160 pounds he brown hair blue eyes and a moustache. He is wanted in connection with the robbery of the Whitaker Bank in Lancaster on 5/18/2006.

Detective Monte Owens U/1119 and Detective Bill Collins U/414 discovered that Mr. Pittman was also responsible for two other bank robberies. One in Nicholasville and one in Danville, the local police departments have obtained warrants regarding those robberies.

Units searched his residence in Lexington and he was not there, Mr. Pittman has not been arrested and remains at large at this time.

The Kentucky State Police was assisted in the investigation by Nicholasville Police Department, Danville Police Department, Lexington Metro Police Department and the FBI.
