(RICHMOND, KY) - On 2/20/2006 at 0958 hours, Troopers of the Kentucky State Police Post 7 Richmond, responded to a request for assistance from the Jackson County Sheriff's Department after a suicidal subject threatened the Sheriff and two deputies with a firearm. At 0950 hours, the Jackson County Sheriff's Department received information that Charles Robertson of Medlock Lane was threatening to kill himself. Jackson County Sheriff Tim Fee and two of his deputies arrived to check on Mr. Robertson. Mr. Robertson met them outside and pointed a handgun at them.
